Fixed-position collet chuck for precision round-part clamping.
Fixed Collet Chuck
KORRETTO fixed collet chuck is used when a workpiece needs stable collet-style clamping in a fixed or stationary layout. It is suitable for round parts, shafts, sleeves and small precision components where uniform clamping contact is more suitable than jaw clamping. This page covers the fixed collet chuck only and should not be merged with the JHS hydraulic fixed collet chuck page.

Product Overview
The fixed collet chuck is selected for applications where the chuck body remains in a fixed position and the collet provides accurate holding around the workpiece diameter. It is used in fixtures, special machines and spindle-side or stationary workholding layouts depending on the machine design.
The fixed collet chuck shown here is selected for stationary collet clamping layouts. For hydraulic fixed collet chuck applications, use the separate JHS Hydraulic Fixed Collet Chuck series.

FAQ
What is a fixed collet chuck used for?
It is used for fixed-position or stationary collet clamping of round workpieces, shafts, sleeves and small precision parts.
Is this the same as JHS Hydraulic Fixed Collet Chuck?
Fixed Collet Chuck and JHS Hydraulic Fixed Collet Chuck are separate series. Select according to the actuation method, fixture layout and matching drawing.
When should I choose a fixed collet chuck?
Choose it when the workpiece can be held by a collet in a fixed station and uniform round-part contact is required.
What should be checked before selection?
Check the workpiece diameter, collet type, mounting dimensions, actuation method, clamping stroke and fixture layout.
Can this be used instead of a jaw chuck?
It can be used when the workpiece is round and the required clamping range matches the collet system. Jaw chucks may still be better for larger variation or irregular profiles.
