FAQ
What is the TS-A Series Rotary Table used for?
It is used for horizontal rotary positioning, indexing and circular machining operations, especially on larger workpieces and machine-table setups.
How is it different from a chuck or an indexing chuck?
A rotary table is installed on the machine table for workpiece positioning. It is not a spindle-side chuck or an indexing chuck used for turning applications.
How is it different from RT-HV or a tilting rotary table?
TS-A is mainly selected for larger horizontal rotary table work. RT-HV focuses on horizontal and vertical mounting flexibility, while a tilting rotary table is selected when angular tilt positioning is required.
What machine table or mounting interface should be confirmed?
Check the machine table size, T-slot layout, mounting bolt pattern, center bore requirement and the available installation space.
What workpiece size or load should be checked?
Confirm the workpiece diameter, weight, fixture height, eccentric load and overhang so the selected table size and load capacity are appropriate.
What positioning or indexing accuracy should be confirmed?
The required angular positioning, repeatability and division method should be checked against the machining tolerance and process sequence.
What should be checked before installation?
Check the horizontal mounting surface, fixture interference, lubrication condition, handle operating space and the machine travel envelope before installation.
What information is needed for quotation?
Please provide the machine model, required table diameter, workpiece dimensions, workpiece weight, indexing requirement and the intended machining process.
