Sine Permanent Magnetic Chuck

Sine permanent magnetic chucks are used for precision angle grinding of ferromagnetic workpieces. They combine permanent magnetic holding with a sine structure for controlled angular positioning.

Send the workpiece size, required grinding angle, magnetic holding area and angle adjustment requirement, and we will help check the suitable sine permanent magnetic chuck model.

Sine permanent magnetic chuck

Product Overview

Sine permanent magnetic chucks combine permanent magnetic holding and sine-angle positioning for precision angle grinding of ferromagnetic workpieces.

How a Sine Permanent Magnetic Chuck Works

The permanent magnetic top plate holds a ferromagnetic workpiece by completing the magnetic circuit through the part. Below it, the sine mechanism tilts the working surface about a defined pivot; the angle is set from the sine geometry and the selected height standard, then mechanically locked before grinding. Holding force and angular accuracy are separate checks: they depend respectively on pole contact and material condition, and on clean reference surfaces, correct setup height and secure locking.

Selection Notes

Please provide workpiece size, required grinding angle, holding area, angle adjustment demand and machine setup for model confirmation.

When a Sine Permanent Magnetic Chuck Is Not Suitable

A single-axis sine chuck is not suitable when the workpiece requires compound-angle adjustment in two directions. Do not use it for non-ferromagnetic parts, insufficient pole coverage, or workpieces whose roughness, curvature or thin section creates inadequate magnetic contact. The requested angle must remain within the listed range, and the pivot, reference surfaces and locking mechanism must be clean and secure before grinding.

FAQ

What is a sine permanent magnetic chuck used for?

It is used for precision angle grinding of ferromagnetic workpieces with sine-based angular positioning.

How is it different from a compound sine permanent magnetic chuck?

A sine permanent magnetic chuck is selected for sine-angle applications, while compound sine structures are used for different multi-direction angle requirements.

What information should I provide for model selection?

Please provide workpiece size, required angle, magnetic holding area, angle adjustment requirements and grinding setup.

What angle range and workpiece size should be checked?

Please confirm the required grinding angle, workpiece dimensions, thickness and the available magnetic contact area before selecting the model.

What machine table or mounting interface should be confirmed?

Please confirm the grinder table size, installation surface, height limitation and setup clearance so the sine structure can be used correctly.

Is it suitable for precision grinding of angular workpieces?

Yes. Sine permanent magnetic chucks are designed for precision angular grinding where stable magnetic holding and sine-angle positioning are both needed.

What should be checked before installation?

Check the base flatness, sine-setting mechanism, magnetic switch operation and workpiece support condition before production use.

What information is needed for quotation?

Please provide the workpiece size, required angle range, holding area, grinder table size and application details.
